Rename each file with to "filename.php" instead of "filename.source".

Some of the programs requires a database access. The necessary tables must already
be created in the database. Database settings are to be specified at the beginning
of the source where variables are provided for it.

To install a LAMP server on your ubuntu system (internet connection assumed), 
issue the following command

$sudo tasksel

and select "LAMP server" and agree for install. PHP, Apache, MySQL must be installed now.
